Key Accountabilities:

• Work with Agile team, providing contributions when required.

• Documenting, categorizing and reporting risks with the Engineering Lead.

• Encourage collaborative behavior, promote team communication, and mentor and coach junior members.

• Designs, codes, verifies, tests, documents, amends and refactors complex programs/scripts and integration software services.

• Measures and monitor applications of project/team standards for software construction, including software security.

• Tailor and review processes in line with agreed standards and evaluation of methods and tools.

• Elicits requirements for systems and software life cycle working practices and automation.

• Prepares design options for the working environment of methods, procedures, techniques, tools, and people.

• Selects systems and software life cycle working practices for software components and micro-services.

• Deploys automation to achieve well-engineered and secure outcomes.

• Undertakes complete design of moderately complex software applications or components.

• Applies agreed standards, guidelines, patterns and tools. Assists as part of a team in the design of components of larger software systems. Specifies user and/or system interfaces.

• Creates multiple design views to address the different stakeholders' concerns and to handle functional and non-functional requirements. Assists in the evaluation of options and trade-offs.

Essential Skills and Experience:

• 5 years’ experience in Engineering, with some experience in a technical leadership capacity is advantageous

• Advanced knowledge and commercial experience in microservices and programming languages (C#, Vue, Typescript).

• Experience in: Cloud technologies including Postgres, Azure SQL, SQL Server, Azure Data Lake

• Knowledge of source repositories such as GitHub.

• Knowledge of API’s, REST, JSON, XML

• Excellent written and verbal skills with a high-level ability to articulate and present complex concepts clearly and concisely.

• Proven ability to prioritise and manage workload efficiently and demonstrate flexibility in handling changing priorities

Desirable

• Experience in any of the following would be an advantage: Unity, VR, AI,

• Knowledge of the Mining technologies and Resources sector, particularly underground mining.

• Experience with LiDAR and/or Geospatial algorithms
