Project Manager

About the job

The Project Manager manages key client projects. Project management responsibilities include the coordination and completion of projects on time within budget and within scope. Oversee all aspects of projects. Set deadlines, assign responsibilities and monitor and summarise progress
of project. Prepare reports for upper management regarding status of project.

The successful candidate will work directly with clients to ensure deliverables fall within the applicable scope and budget. He or she will coordinate with other departments to ensure all aspects of each project are compatible and will hire new talent as needed to fulfil client needs.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivery of software development projects, using the Agile / SCRUM methodology;

  • Manage the development of product maps, with functions and features through the definition and estimation process;

  • Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility;

  • Manage a team of up to eight resources through the project Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and report progress;

  • Manage scope, variation and cost management on the project;

  • Produce project status reporting, and facilitate project steering committee meetings;

  • Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders; 

  • Perform risk management to minimise project risk and

  • Mentor junior staff members' to develop individual strengths, skill sets and experience levels Perform other related duties as assigned

Skills and Experience:

  • 5 years+ proven working experience in SDLC project management; 

  • Strong knowledge and experience in agile / SCRUM software delivery; 

  • Excellent client-facing and change management skills; 

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; 

  • Solid organisational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills; 

  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Project Management Professional (PMP) / PRINCE II certification Bachelor's and 

  • Degree in appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience.
