IT Support Analyst

Insig Technologies is seeking an experienced IT Support Officer.

This role will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining Insig’s computer systems, by installing and configuring hardware and software, resolving technical issues as they arise and actioning end-user requests.

Requirements


Key Accountabilities


  • Provide high level customer service for internal and external end-users

  • Install and configure computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, and scanners

  • Monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks

  • Respond in a timely manner to service issues and requests

  • Provide technical support across Insig (this may be in person or over the phone)

  • Triage tickets as required

  • Work to agreed SLA’s and KPIs

  • Escalate unresolved incidents

  • Setup accounts for new users

  • Repair and replace equipment as necessary

  • Test new technology

  • Maintain inventory records of IT hardware

  • Maintain IT equipment; liaising with vendors regarding warranty/repairs

  • Assist with the implementation of projects to improve IT services


Essential Skills and Experience


  • Proven experience with customer service and excellent communication skills.

  • Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or Bachelor Degree in Information Technology or similar.

  • At least 1 year proven experience with providing technical support for Office 365, Windows OS, OS, AzureAD, endpoint management systems as well as other applications.

  • Demonstrated ability to navigate through an existing knowledge base to resolve technical issues.

  • Demonstrate ability with network administration and commissioning new hardware.

  • A strong desire to learn and a good attitude to build and develop your skills.

  • Must be reliable, punctual and well-presented with excellent phone skills.

  • Self-motivation and ability to work independently and collaboratively with internal and external company teams.

  • A successful candidate will also have a strong background in service desk, desktop support or IT services roles.
