Insig Technologies is a leader in underground mining technology. Our mission is to partner with leading mining companies to increase their productivity and enhance safety in our client operations through leading-edge technologies and highly skilled people.

This is an exciting new role that will help shape HR at Insig and support their growth journey. Insig is a small business going through exponential growth with exciting projects currently underway and plans for future expansion.

Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, this role is standalone and will require a strong hands-on generalist with an operational focus to implement contemporary HR practices and processes. There is a new HR system in place and recruitment resources to support you in the journey.

Requirements

Key Accountabilities include:


  • Manage and undertake a range of HR Services and cyclical activities, including: recruitment, induction, separation, performance management, management coaching/support and advice, employee engagement, change management, communications, position descriptions and training

  • Identify gaps in existing HR policies and practices and contribute to the development of new HR policies and procedures.

  • Consult, deliver and introduce new/amended policies and procedures into the business, including delivering training to meet the needs of the business

  • Coach Managers on embedding a performance culture through establishing clear objectives, delivering continual performance feedback and developing employees

  • Provide sound advice to the business on disciplinary/grievances and other employee issues as they arise

  • Utilise the Employment Hero HR System to its full potential and look for ways to improve HR Services/reporting

Currently based in Belmont, Western Australia with the opportunity for the right person to work flexibly. We will also consider part time arrangements to a minimum of 30 hours per week.


Skills and Experience


  • Degree in Human Resources Management or equivalent experience

  • Several years’ experience in HR Generalist roles (3-5 years)

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to deal with a diverse range of contacts within the Company and externally as required

  • Sound knowledge of employment legislation

  • Highly organised with proven time management skills, ability to work autonomously and direct own program of work
