Requirements
Key Accountabilities
Demonstrate Strong leadership skills and manage electrical works through construction, commissioning, and ongoing maintenance;
Responsible for the delivery of agreed programs of work on time within budget;
Responsible for the creation of estimates and quotes, driving new sales and opportunities;
Responsible for the creation of work programs and pipeline of future projects that meets the core work of Insig Technologies;
Responsible for recruitment of resources to meet the agreed work program;
Contribute to the engineering and design of high-powered AC and DC Power Systems including functional safety, specification and drafting processes, critical component selection, review, and approval to applicable AS/NZ standards;
Responsible for the development and training of key electrical resources;
Accountable for the adherence to applicable AS/NZ electrical standards, Quality assurance and reliability;
Accountable for product development and manufacturing experience including Product Lifecycle management from design to build, test, manufacture, operate, and maintain;
Ability to work autonomously, report regularly, and work to deadlines;
Strong ability to write technical documentation and speak clearly about the technical subject matter;
Responsible for Project controls including QA, document control, FIC checklists, Drawing updates, manual creation, and marked up drawings;
Responsible in the electrical Auditing in accordance with the Mine Safety and Inspection Act & Regulations;
Liaising with maintenance personnel on safety, performance and technical issues;
Ensuring team compliance with all company, legislative and statutory regulations with regards to safety and the environment;
Promoting a culture of Zero Harm, leading by example;
Motivate and influence personnel to work as a cohesive, productive and safe team focused on achieving specified outcomes in a timely manner.
Essential Skills and Experience
Must hold valid electrical workers license and be available to be the Nominee for the company within WA and NT and NSW;
Electrical Trade and WA/NT Electrical Workers license or electrical Degree;
7-10 years underground electrical experience;
Considerable design experience with VSD’s MCC’s and electrical control rooms. panel building;
Strong fundamental understanding of Electric Machines, AC Motor drives, DC Battery and Energy Storage systems;
Good organizational skills, initiative, and a pro-active attitude to your work and customer relations;
Continuous improvement and problem-solving mindset to production Quality, Cost, and Productivity objectives;
Acts as Electrical Contractor Nominee;
Management experience within the electrical industry;
Underground mining experience.
