You will work with key business and project stakeholders to define requirements and monitor project outcomes that meet business expectations. Your attention to detail during solution testing will align with “InSig Technologies” quality value. You will assist with the business change management process to ensure the solution is imbedded in the business and provide training where required.
You will be working towards the development of a digital mining platform for an international mining organization. The solutions will provide remote enablement and automation capability across multiple regions that will increase operational visibility and ultimately support improved decision-making across the business.
Key Responsibilities include;
Gathering and documenting business requirements by working closely with project sponsors and business owners as well as architects, developers and testers;
Lead workshops, document the functional and non-functional requirements with the business stakeholders, technical team as well as project team;
Evaluate, develop and analyse business processes, anticipating requirements, uncovering areas for improvement, and developing and implementing solutions;
Building relationships and developing platform advocacy across a variety of stakeholders including internal customers, vendor and partners;
Ability to triage issues, record feedback, and find small features for modification;
Produce documentation in accordance with prevailing client standards and methodologies.
Review of test plans to ensure compliance with requirements;
Evaluate and document any change impacts;
Competent in use of MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, Visio);
Highly self-motivated and self-directed;
Strong customer experience orientation;
Full working rights for Western Australia, Australia;
Ability to successfully pass Police Check’s as required; and
Valid Full Western Australian Drivers License.
To be considered
5+ years’ experience in an IT Business Analyst position;
A well-rounded, polished Business Analyst;
Knowledge of the Mining technologies and Resources particularly underground mining;
Strong requirements gathering skills;
Running and facilitating workshops;
System remediation would be highly regarded;
Stakeholder management/communication skills;
Exceptional communication skills with the ability to effectively translate business requirements in to functional designs;
Proficient in data analysis and requirements mapping to functional designs;
Strong analytical skills and ability to logically assess and dissect complex information or data sets;
Intellectual curiosity with the ability to question and problem solve;
Excellent written and verbal skills with a high-level ability to articulate and present complex concepts clearly and concisely;
Proven ability to priorities and manage workload efficiently and demonstrate flexibility in handling changing priorities;
Proven ability to work effectively under general direction, and to work collaboratively to achieve team and individual goals;
Ability to exercise initiative and judgement in the application of established practices or procedures;
Ability to respond receptively to change in a time-critical working environment, learn, promote and apply new ideas and business concepts, and deal with competing priorities;
Aptitude for understanding business objectives and processes;
Experience in creating business requirements documents; and
Experience required managing Epics and User Stories through JIRA and Confluence.
